I teach piano lessons to all ages from my Emsworth music room; I am passionate about ensuring that your piano lessons are enjoyable and varied no matter what your age or experience level.
For my younger students I include lots of games and activities to help with their focus, learning and creativity. For my adult students I will always agree your goals and make the piano lessons and help make practice time varied and accessible. Whether you want to progress through piano grades, compose your own music, or simply learn for the enjoyment of making a nice sound that is why I do what I do. I first started teaching piano and guitar when I was studying my A levels, I then taught a little to help get myself through my degree years. Then I spent the next decade performing, recording, and teaching. Please see my experience page for more details. I taught piano, guitar and bass guitar at the Sussex Academy of music and became the Head of Piano. I taught both in schools and at the Academy. After a few years I left to teach through the Susanna Cassam agency in Brighton. In 2017 I moved to Emsworth and now solely teach piano lessons from my music studio. My students have the opportunity if they wish to try different musical instruments and learn the technical sides of recording. My students have recorded orchestral pieces to dance music and even heavy rock. Several my students very much enjoy composing and recording in my Music Studio.
